Kütahya Geo-thermal Tourism
With 7 Thermal Tourism Centers, Kutahya has the richest geothermal sources in Turkey. Those centers are Ilıca-Harlek, Gediz-Ilıcasu, Gediz- Muratdagı, Emet-Yesil ve Kaynarca, Simav-Eynal Kaplıcaları. Kütahya provides alternatives in health tourism with its extensive geo-thermal resources.
Many diseases such as rheumatism and paralysis, or several diseases related to gynecology can be cured with the aid of thermal water treatment. Kütahya included to the “Branded City” Project of Culture and Tourism Ministry would be the best profitable centers for investments in tourism industry. It has also many historical inheritances from Phyrigian, Lydian, Selcuid and Ottoman civilizations.
