Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO) was founded in 1926.
In 1964, the first studies for the establishment of the Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone were carried out within the scope of KUTSO.
KUTSO, which played an active role in the establishment of the Seyitömer Thermal Power Plant in order to utilize the rich coal potential of Kütahya in 1966, had a dormitory with a capacity of 200 students built in the district after the earthquake disaster in Kütahya/Gediz in 1971.
In 1977, a European tour was made with a delegation of 21 people in order to open Kütahya to foreign markets and to bring foreign financing to our city. In the same period, Çinikop, which was established by the tile manufacturers in Kütahya, was put into practice.
In 1982, 32 full-fledged rooms and intensive care units were provided to Kütahya State Hospital.
KUTSO pioneered the establishment of the Kütahya Commodity Exchange in 1997.
In 1998, Atatürk Anatolian Industrial Vocational and Technical High School was established with the financing of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye.
Kütahya Customs Directorate building, which was established in 1999 with the financing of KUTSO, was put into service for the Governorship of Kütahya since the service of the directorate ended.
In 1999, the KUTSO website was published, and the Exhibition Premises was established for members to exhibit their products.
In 2000, the Martyrs’ Monument and Park were opened in memory of all the martyrs in our country.
The historical Kütahya Mansion, which was restored by KUTSO in 2001, still serves as a restaurant where local delicacies are served.
The quality journey that started in 2001 still continues with the TSE ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate.
In 2003, KUTSO founded Kütahya Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which is a good example of the partnership culture and which today makes the first and special production in Türkiye under the brand of Kü-Blok.
In 2006-2007, KUTSO pioneered the establishment of the Kütahya 2nd Organized Industrial Zone.
KUTSO, which received the Accredited Chamber Certificate in 2008, received the KUTSO Trademark Registration Certificate in the same year.
KUTSO started service in its new building in 2008.
In 2009, KUTSO became a partner of Design Teknokent A.Ş. in cooperation with Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
In 2010, KUTSO pioneered the opening of the Anemon Hotel in the ancient city of Kütahya Çavdarhisar Aizanoi with the contributions of TURSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) and TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye).
In 2011, KUTSO Kindergarten, to which the members also contributed financially, was brought to Kütahya. In the same year, a place in the service building was allocated to the KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization) Kütahya Service Center Directorate in order to facilitate the work of the members.
Also in 2011, KUTSO became a partner of Afyonkarahisar ABİGEM and Büyük Anadolu Lojistik Organizasyonlar (BALO) A.Ş.
In 2013, separate study rooms were allocated to 14 professional committees and entrepreneurial boards of KUTSO in the service building.
KUTSEV (Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Education Foundation) was established.
KUTSO Ehrami Larch Memorial Forest was created.
KUTSO Industrial Vocational High School was built.
At Zafer Regional Airport, a CIP lounge has been allocated by KUTSO for the use of all chambers and exchange members under the roof of TOBB.
There are 14 professional committees, 34 council members, and 9 board members.
Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has a sister/brother chamber protocol with the Chechnya Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
